Additionally, the agency must show that it can maintain a customer base that is continuously growing. In assessing performance, Google examines an agency’s track record for:
- Client revenue growth
- Overall revenue growth
- Client retention
- Growth in the number of advertisers
For example, even to earn basic Partner status, a company must demonstrate a 70% or higher optimization score. This score is just one of several metrics that Google evaluates to determine if a marketing team goes above and beyond to help their clients reach sustainable success.
