1. Business Profiles
Instagram recently provided businesses with big changes to help manage their accounts and see the benefits of promoting posts. Business profiles allow a distinct separation between personal accounts and Instagram accounts run and managed by companies.
Verifying your account as a business page can further brand awareness and provide customers with more access to the items and account.
Instagram’s Promote tool ensures that your important content is seen by users of the social network. Promoting a post has multiple steps to it and the first one is to select a call to action button with options of Get Directions or Call Now.
You can then choose what you want people to do, such as visit your website or call or visit your business. Once you choose one of these options, you can select an automatic audience to see your promotion or you can create your own.
Last but not least, you select your budget and the duration of the promotion. The results of your promotion can be seen in Insights!
Insights on Instagram provides businesses with statistics of how their organic posts are doing as well as their promoted posts. Insights include Impressions, Reach, and Profile Views. The Insights option shows your top posts, so you can continue to produce similarly successful imagery and copy. Insights help businesses see what they’re doing right and what isn’t working well for them.
The new business profile option allows businesses to choose how their customers contact them through calls, texts, or emails. A new button on the home page allows customers to stay in touch and provide feedback right on the spot. This allows businesses to be readily accessible to their customers and clients.
Instagram’s new Story option can provide customers with a more in-depth message. This is a great place to upload polished posts about deals and specials. You can also encourage people to Direct Message the account in order to claim the deal viewed in the story. The Story option is a great place to show off your creative process, but remember that the Story expires in 24 hours so this can be used to your advantage.
