The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign in Las Vegas, Nevada USA V Digital Services is doubling down on the booming Las Vegas market.

The fast-growing digital advertising agency today announced it has formed a joint venture with well-known Nevada entrepreneur Wayne Morgan.

VDS entered the Las Vegas market in 2015, quickly establishing a foothold in the digital advertising realm. The joint venture with Morgan is expected to exponentially increase the company’s reach in Nevada.

“Wayne is an institution in Las Vegas and we are incredibly bullish on this new partnership,” said Scott Tobias, chief executive officer of VDS parent company Voice Media Group.

A former teacher and administrator in the Clark County School District, Morgan has a long history as a successful entrepreneur in Nevada. His many interests now range from print and online publications such as SimplyAutos.com and SimplyApartments.com to insurance, auto parts and a group of Las Vegas restaurants.

The joint venture will combine VDS’s sales acumen and technological expertise with Morgan’s impressive business footprint in the Las Vegas area. “The combination of Wayne’s sales team and his relationships with the firepower of the full-scale agency we have is a recipe for real success,” Tobias said.

“I see great promise in partnering with VDS,” added Morgan. “Combining our experience and understanding of the local market with VDS’s unmatched ability to deliver results is the obvious next step in our evolution.”

It has been an active 2017 thus far for VDS. In the last two weeks, the company has announced the hiring of industry veteran Chris Bird as its senior vice president, the hiring of Martin McDonald as its vice president of strategic sales and channel development, and the appointment of Kenny Stocker to head its new Seattle office.

Those closely coordinated personnel moves along with the Morgan venture are part of Voice Media Group’s pivot from a print-based newspaper company to a full-service digital advertising agency. Under that plan, the company has aggressively expanded the digital services available to local customers while making targeted reductions in its print portfolio. V Digital Services now has offices in twelve major American markets, along with a growing number of international markets.

Voice Media Group continues to own and operate six iconic alternative weekly newspapers and websites across the U.S., including LA Weekly, Phoenix New Times, Denver Westword, Miami New Times, the Dallas Observer and the Houston Press. VDS, a Premier Google Partner, combines the reach of those established newspaper properties with cutting-edge digital strategies for customers, including precision-targeted programmatic advertising, organic SEO, paid media, social media management and web development.
